The Rotary Club of Essendon has arranged to provide urgent supplies of food and clothing to the Vinnies Soup Van project, assisting them to continue supporting vulnerable members of the community who require care and assistance, particularly during the COVID19 period.

The Community Committee is proud to announce that the project of $5,000 was funded with $2,500 from District Grant and $2,500 from the Club. We thank and acknowledge District 9800 for providing the grant and thank Roger Priestly from IGA for supplying the food items to the value of $3,000.

Members from the Club are assisting with packing and distributing items as permitted to visit the various locations within Melbourne supported by Vinnies.
